Colliers Boston’s quarterly market reports, redesigned for 2023
Authentic photos were taken throughout these reports whenever possible. Two notable images I personally captured were the covers of both the Office and Multifamily Reports. It can be difficult to find specific kinds of images in stock photography, and I wanted to use real images of Boston. Taking the photographs myself was the best solution.
Each report begins with a summary of the market and historical trends to provide context to what the reader will learn in-depth throughout the report.
Every report provides a thorough review of the Boston metro’s economy with informational charts. This section remains constant with each report creating consistency throughout the series. The reports are then broken into “Boston”, “Cambridge”, and “Suburbs” sections, providing further insight into those markets.
The Multifamily Report is particularly unique because it provides a detailed map of the Multifamily submarkets, the average rents and vacancies in those submarkets, and the percentage under construction. This colorful map has received praise from both other Colliers offices as well as outside the organization.
To drive more engagement with our reports, I created an animation that highlights our “key takeaways” from each report. The animation was primarily posted on LinkedIn through our corporate account.
Every quarter, Colliers offices publish four reports describing the Office, Industrial, Multifamily and Life Science real estate markets. For the Colliers Boston office, the objective of this year’s reports was to establish a flow focussed around storytelling.
